If we dilute LOS Surface warfare to the point BB's really have no strategic purpose and, there is no way to "see" subs and carriers simply can cross the map in less that 2 minutes, what's the point? Yes, It sells subs and carriers. Right now, they have carte blanche to chose where and when.and that, isn't consistent with a game based on LOS surface warfare from that era. Subs and Planes are countered by AA Radar and Sonar.and, do you see them in the game? Nope. Submarines need a few tweeks, cvs need overhaul #2.Īctually, what you said would be true if this war game had maps large enough to support dissimilar weapons systems AND, the Anti-Air (AA Radars and Special munitions) and Anti-Sub tools (sonar and DD's & Frigates configured for ASW) and weapons that matched the dissimilar weapons advantages - which isn't the case. I personally dont have an issue with subs, or carriers for that matter.įor subs i have issues with some of their mechanics, and how their mm works, that i do think need fixed before they are allowed to stay as a ready fixture.īoth classes belong in a naval wargame like this. Blindly supporting a thing isnt good either, and some of the threads and feedback have had defenders of them accuse anyone with an issue(even if they present a solution) as whining. Well, when folks have issues and they present those issues, only to get crapped on, i can understand it.
